Sunday Morning Stroll

Went from home to West Wycombe in my new waterproof boots. It was a little muddy along this route

farm buildings with brick and flint building behind, part of the estate
footbridge across a stream
footpath to West Wycombe
entrance to the Estate from a public roadfenced-off from the public footpath
no entry to the Estate
Gate to the public footpath on return walk

farm worker had just laid this fresh supply of hay. She stopped to chat when she was about to push a wheelbarrow heavily laden with water to replenish the trough . . .
. . . before the fresh hay was laid
coming back I saw this traffic jam due to roadworks. I passed many Wycombe Wanderers supporters on their way to the match at…
Adams Park Stadium
Wanderers have a goal!

  1. I didn’t know it was possible to walk across the middle of West Wycombe Park this time of year. Please let me know if there is access apart from the June-August openings as it is somewhere I would like to walk outside these times. Thank you

    1. No it’s Dashwood land but every gate to the house grounds (and there are many) is locked.

They make sure that you keep to the public footpath most of which has tall hedges on either side
